After the ITT in 2020, the team trophy crossed the border with Belgium. MEGA from Ghent won the team competition. The enthusiastic team could not only swim fast, but also sing and dance like the best. And we love that! DJ Patrick of ‘Mannen draaien door’ (Men spinning through) provided the perfect musical backdrop for the whole weekend.
One of the original parts of the ITT was the crown race. Different age categories – boys and girls – swam 50 meters freestyle against each other. After the race, the fastest in each category was crowned.
The swimmers who still had the crown on their heads at the end were winners in their category:
- Jun 1/2 H: Tenzing Geutjes
- Jun 3/4 H: Lucas Adams
- Jeu 1/2 H: Lars Verhalle
- Jun 1/2 D: Noa Hollebosch
- Jun 3/4 D: Colinda van der Zanden
- Jeu 1/2 D: Sterre Hendriks
